Once a memberÂ… Always a member.
Once you have joined our growing circle of friends in the Credit Union, the benefits of membership are yours for as long as you wish. You can still retain your membership privileges whether you change jobs, relocate to another area, retire, or leave the field of membership. If you wish, you may also join another Credit Union if you meet their eligibility requirements.
Membership Criteria
Our bylaws state that the field of membership includes those owning a share in any Virginia based cooperative.
Management
Credit Union operation is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. The Virginia Coop Credit Union is governed by a Board of Directors who is voted into office by VCCU members. Officers are elected by the Board of Directors.
