As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread around the world, it is causing disruption to businesses and everyday life. Virginia Coop Credit Union is committed to your personal and financial well-being and is closely monitoring the situation with information from state and federal agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We are adapting operations and using best-practice sanitizing procedures to continue to serve you as well as provide better safety for you, our other members, and our employees.
During this time, mobile app and online banking platforms allow you to easily access your accounts and manage finances remotely. Additionally, you can make deposits, check balances and withdraw cash at our drive-thru. We can also schedule phone appointments to help with things like mortgage and other loan applications.
We are aware that economic disruptions can cause financial challenges. If you face financial hardship from the Coronavirus, please contact a member service representative. We will move forward together for the best outcome and continue our tradition of People Helping People.
As of April 15th the first of the IRS Stimulus Payment from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) are being distributed within the next three to four weeks, also referred to as Economic Impact Payments or COVID-relief checks. Those who filed their taxes in 2018 or 2019 do not have to do anything to receive their check. There are a lot of details to this stimulus package, so we’ve compiled everything you need to know, including when you can expect to receive your stimulus.
