Virginia Co-Op Credit Union Expands with New Building in Chisholm, MN

Virginia Co-Op Credit Union is developing its new branch office in Chisholm, Minnesota, marking a major step in the credit union’s ongoing growth and dedication to serving the Iron Range community.

The new facility, located at 11 NW 1st Ave, Chisholm, MN 55719, will provide space for all types of member services. This investment underscores Virginia Co-Op Credit Union’s commitment to improving accessibility and delivering personalized financial solutions to its growing membership base.

The new Chisholm branch will feature modern amenities, including a drive-thru and an exterior ATM, along with digital banking services. Construction and renovation plans are underway, with an anticipated opening in mid-2026.

In addition to the expansion, members of Virginia Co-Op Credit Union will have the
opportunity to vote on a proposed name change. The proposed change reflects the credit union’s broader regional presence and continued evolution while maintaining its cooperative roots and member-first philosophy.
