You can now add your VCCU debit card to the mobile wallet app on your device. Then you can tap to pay where you see the Contactless Symbol.
Mobile Wallet transactions are safer because:
- Your name, card number and security code stay private
- You don't give your physical card to anyone
- Your device doesn’t share your actual card number with retailers
- The retailer receives only a transaction-specific code to process your payment (code changes for each transaction)
Whether you’re an Android, Apple or Samsung user, you now have the power to use your VCCU debit card via your device anywhere that accepts contactless payment. It’s a quick and easy way to pay on the go!
Google Pay™
To get started, download the Google Pay app from the Google Play or App Store. Then follow the instructions to add your VCCU debit card. Verify your card if needed. Then you’re all set!
Apple Pay™
- On iPhone®, open the Wallet app and tap the plus sign. From there, follow the on screen instructions.
- On Apple Watch™, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, then tap “Add Credit or Debit Card.” From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
- On iPad®, go into Settings, open “Wallet & Apple Pay”, and select “Add Credit or Debit Card”. From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
Samsung Wallet™
Make sure your compatible Samsung device* is updated with Samsung Wallet. Your device’s camera will scan in your card information for you to confirm. Secure the account with your fingerprint and a backup PIN.
In just a few minutes, you’re ready to go.
